From Vancouver, I graduated from The Emily Carr University of Design after spending some time in Berlin atKunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee; focused on design process and theory.
After graduating from Emily Carr University, I immediately took on a position at Designafairs in Munich and afterwards continued my freelance work in Munich and delved into a breadth of products ranging from Consumer Electronics, Furniture, and Bathroom systems.
As an avid cyclist, I decided to change gears and took a position at Giant Bicycles in California. There I managed to meld my passion for cycling and product design. At Giant, each year I designed and developed a full product line of road, mountain and comfort bikes globally.
In 2007 I joined Nokia and led several mobile device projects from inception to ramp down, all the while working alongside engineering and UI teams to create several great products for Verizon, AT&T and China Mobile.
In 2011 I joined the NOKIA advanced design team, which has since evolved into the HERE Adventure Lab.
